888 is a Powerful Connection with Spirit
What does 888 mean? Today, August 8, 2015 marks an auspicious vibration of power with triple 8s.
The 8th day of the 8th month (August) of an 8 year (2+0+1+5= 8).
Eight represents power in almost every modality. The numerological energy of 8 is abundance — the effervescent flow of power (the infinity symbol). This represents the power of spirit, success, connection, and achievement. If you set your mind to what you want, you will have the energy to manifest it.
How Will the 888 Vibration Affect You?
The triple 8 combo adds to a very different energy from the sometimes aggressive 8. The sum of 8+8+8 = 24/6. Six is compassion in numerology. The 6 is love, all matters of the heart and service to others and community and the environment. So wow, it would be a great time to tap in on this day and meditate on your own or with others. Connect to the powerful qi within you and acknowledge it and then send it out to do service to all the people in your life and the environment.
The Power and Flow of 8
The eight is the vibratory energy of the infinity symbol. This is the flow and balance of energy that is never ending. Many modalities (such as Chinese and Western numerology and Feng Shui) view this number as a force that can manifest change.

In its strength and abundance, you can fearlessly expand to all the possibilities in your life… in leadership, career, success, creativity, spirituality and manifesting your ideas into action. In essence, it is stepping out of your comfort zone, letting go of your fears and self-judgments and seeking empowerment for yourself and those you touch.
The Shadow of 8
In the shadow, (which we always need to confront) the 8 has leered its ugly head to selfishness, fear, isolation, aggressiveness, ego, trying to raise yourself up by putting others down. The gremlin of 8 reaches for money and power as a means to be above others, and feel better about self. The infinity symbol and higher purpose of 8 has a vision of strength and purpose as a vehicle to empower all.

Tune into what you want and also how your energy can serve and empower others , the environment, and the world. Perhaps jot down a list of your intentions. You can begin with drawing an infinity symbol on paper or in your mind and feel its energy through your body. Feel how it surges through you giving you energy.
