Are you wondering what July and the number 7 has in store for you?
It is a Time to Stay Awake!
Are you feeling it? Many people in my circles are in a bit of a whirlwind right now. With our politics as well as our emotional state, some of us are unfocused, frustrated, and unsteady on our feet. Are you sensing a bit of uneasiness in your body and mind? It is a time to be more grounded and awake than ever before.
July is more than a hot and probably rainy month. July represents the number “7“. Seven, in numerology, is all about spirituality and the inner you. It is the fascination of seeking the unknown — a view that is rarely seen the same way.
But this 7th month has an even deeper effect on our psyche. We can get distracted as we are looking on our cell-phone, preoccupied by that text from a friend. The key is to pay attention when you are walking down the street, rather than forgetting to look both ways.
On the flip side, the 7 energy is often a reflective time. Taking long walks in nature, meditating on top of a mountain (or your home or local yoga studio), listening to thoughtful music, writing poetry or reading a good book are just some of the nurturing actions to feed the 7 soul.
The 7 month is a time to delve into your unconscious, discovering what is unique in you, and connecting to the mystery of life.
Sound esoteric? Perhaps. My suggestion is to let go of all judgements of self and others. As long as you remain awake, you can discover something new and adventurous. Take a painting or writing class, go to a yoga intensive or take a hike you have never been on.
