Artist Statement
I am a healer within my heart. I paint to express and inspire; to connect to passion, sorrow, and aliveness. In love with color, my work is organic and transformational. I know that I am in the zone when my heart starts beating rapidly and I become amazed at what is transpiring… almost like channeling light or shadow, if that is what is happening at the time.
My “Inspiration” collection of 14 works was inspired by playing with color and light, using a variety of mediums from oil paint to metallic acrylics and mica. Each painting—some more realistic, others abstract—reflects my vision of awakening the spirit.
