Numerology 2016 - what will this year bring us?

2016 is the Year of Transformation (the 9)

Are you feeling a bit whoozy these days? Perhaps forgetful or anticipating something will happen but not sure what? Is the internet going down or your computer acting out? I have heard this from most of my friends and clients. What is going on?

In numerological terms, we are moving into the nine (9) year (2+0+1+6 =9) and it is already affecting most of us. The energy of nine is about transformation, completion and change. In a nine year, you can expect a shift of consciousness. It is almost like re-calibrating your DNA. Much can be revealed about the patterns in your life.

You are not alone. The universe is experiencing the effect of the nine energy. Nothing can stay the same as we know it. In a word, it is about change. We see the turbulence and unwarranted killings in Paris. The governments of the world, the environment, health, technology and financial systems are undergoing a major upheaval.

Things might have to fall apart before they are put back together. Just as cell phones have replaced land lines and apps have replaced having to remember anything, we need to ground ourselves and learn how to thrive in this physical body in a different way. Our world needs to learn as well. Some call this shift from 3D to 5D living.

“What should I do? ” you might ask.

You can alter some of your brain’s obsessive thoughts of “worry” or “negativity” by embracing the adventure of a new way of seeing. Reach into the zero place in your life. That place where you have never been—yet the thought of it intrigues you. This is the home of potential. You might be a bit afraid, but as Fritz Perl said:

” Fear is excitement without the breath.” —Fritz Perl

This can be a time to view the patterns in your relationships, aspirations and attitude that no longer serves you. Let go of the story about yourself that you have believed for many moons. Change your perspective and transform some of your predictable habits, emotional responses and actions.

At least one time a day, do something that brings you joy for no other reason than loving yourself. If it feels authentic, you can support others and help change the environment as an inspiring and healing mirror.

2016 will be a year of exploring the unknown. Where will you go next in every aspect of your life? It may feel like a roller coaster ride, but it will be so valuable at each turn when you find what is true and authentic in your heart.
