Is there such a thing as a bad or good business name?

Ah, a very popular question. What denotes a “good/bad” business name? I actually do not use the word “bad” in any of my analysis, be it a change of name for a stage name or a new business name. I believe it really depends on you, your vision, and what you would like to achieve in creating your company.

1) Should I try to match my destiny number to my business name?
I am looking for a good business name for my new hair salon that is dedicated to cuts for kids. I would like it to be compatible with my name and my birthday. My birthday is 6/1/1980 (which adds to a 25/7) and my business name adds up to a 6. —Pablo
Greer: When I do a name analysis, I look at the full picture of your business name ideas, your vision, as well as your name and your destiny number. It is not as simple as saying “yea” or “nay” when looking at a 6 (six) vibration.
When you add the numbers of your birthday together, it is known as your destiny number or your life path. So looking at the sum of your numbers, 6+1+1+9+8+0=25 (2+5=7) you have a 7 destiny number. The seven destiny is all about spirituality and inner knowing. It is the non-conformist, unique thinker and creative inspirer. Kind of a quiet number, you can be a bit introverted.
Anything you set out to do, even hair for kids, will be unique and with a quirky bent. I would imagine you might be very interested in helping others feel good about the way they look. I would say a business name for a hair place for children would be excellent with a 6 (six) expression number* as it would be really friendly, intimate and heartfelt. This is good for you as sometimes the 7 destiny is withdrawn. I can imagine having a really unique and playful backdrop to your salon to attract the “kid” in everyone.
I might also suggest you find a partner in your business that can do sales and promotion while you concentrate on being creative and quirky. (Kids love that.) Sevens don’t tend to like to be out in the spotlight, so your partner can bring them to you.
For those of you who are reading this and looking for a name for a beauty salon that deals more with adults and appearances compared to a more homelike children’s salon, you might do better with a 5 (five) expression which deals with being out there in the world and charisma and good looks.

Just making up a name for the best number calculation will not work. The name has to make sense and have a punch to it. I can help with the designing of the name. But to answer your question. In a very general way, you do NOT want to have the expression number to be a 9 or a 7 as these numbers are more esoteric and about “thought” not action. You need a very grounded name, one that is about building and is practical, since that is what electricals are, they have a practical purpose. Therefore, for lighting and electricals, an 8, 4 or 1 would be ideal. hope this helps,
