Ask Greer: I want to triple check my idea for a successful business name with you. The business name I am about to register is CCCRNCF. (Author’s note: name is changed for privacy). If I am doing it right, your site shows as a 5 which is a good number. Unfortunately there is another site I often use that shows it’s as an unfavorable number 2. That said, I’ve become a little confused.
A previous post on your Numerology4yoursoul site talks about successful business names by showing Apple with a 5 number vibration. Yet another Numerology website shows it as a 7. I’m just wondering if there was a reason for the differences or are there different styles of numerology and are you able to confirm that CCCRNCF would or would not be the best name for me to choose. —Francis
Choosing a Successful Business Name Using Numerology?
What Method — Chaldean or Pythagoras?
Greer: I am so glad you are finding my site useful. It is truly a labor of love. I find your question fascinating. Yes you are correct. The site you found that calculated Apple as a 7 is calculating their numbers by the Chaldean method*. This method, (which precedes Pythagoras numerology) does not use the number “nine”. From what I have read, and in the simplest of explanations, the Chaldeans believe that 9 is a holy, sacred number therefore they do not use it when calculating the letter chart. (In this calculated method, “p” is an “8”. )
And to show the limitation of this method, can you deny that Apple is a successful company? Ha, really? Probably the most successful company in the world – ie macs/ipods/iTunes/iphones, etc etc etc. In Pythagorean terms, A(1)+P(7)+P(7)+L(3)+E(5) = 23 (2+3 = 5). Five is a number representing the gathering of people in a social way, connecting to fun, entertainment and communication – isn’t that what the i-phone and itunes all about? My personal viewpoint is, why would you leave out a sacred number when calculating your name? Pythagoreans believe that 9 is all about transformation, transition and the spiritual warrior. Why would you leave that out? Don’t we all go through meaningful transition phases in our lives? Ok. end of rant. 🙂
Here is the Pythagorean chart and my analysis from my previous post on creating a successful business name.
What is Your Vision for Your Business? The Choice is Yours.
Ok, lets focus on you and the success of your business through its name. Here are my personal thoughts as a numerologist. There are no good or bad numbers. All numbers have their values, their strengths and their lessons and the most important part of picking a name is to look at what is your goal for your business. What is your personal message or vision that you want to offer your prospective and returning clients? Who is your audience?
With that in mind, I see in your name many 3s — creativity!
Adding the number/letter combination together, as you calculated, is a 5.
This is the number of connections with people and lots of energy and fun. It will attract others for sure and they will want to be involved. However, I have a blind spot here as I do not know your vision for your business. If you would be more specific, Francis, I can give you my numerological insight on if this name sends out the message you wish to present to the world through a private reading.
If we were to proceed with a reading, my questions to you would be: “What is your personal message or vision that you want to offer your prospective and returning clients? Who is your audience?

|“I contacted Greer when I first thought about opening a business. I wanted to start off with good foundations and make sure my business had the right kind of energy from day one. I am so glad that I took numerology into consideration.I love my new business name and feel the energy behind it corresponds with exactly the energy that Greer told me it would. I had another business name in mind as well however the numbers did not reflect the direction that I wanted to take, and I sensed that too. I feel really good about my business name and consequently, I feel great about my business and envision success.”—Elisabeth|
