Wow, I love numerology because it just makes sense. In 2016, I was in year 8 and I received so much scholarships to attend college. In 2017 I co-founded and lead an organization at my university. and In 2018 I was in a year 1 and like everyone else it was terrible. I got rejected from every opportunity I applied to whether it be a job or internship. And most of my rejections took place around the summer of my birthday. I was forced to spend so much time alone to reflect. I always knew that everything was happening for a reason. But my year 1 was also the time I planted the seed for my passion project. And in year 2 I am looking back and amazed at the progress I’ve made. Also question about year 2, I know it’s all about relationships, are some left behind during this time? I’m going through a fight with a friend of mine and this the second one this year and I’m so exhausted that I just want to let it go to stay in peace.
Wow it sounds like you are in sync with your personal year. Yes there is a shadow to every number.. That shadow it the challenges of the number.. So the shadow of the 2 would be the challenges with certain relationships.. Often times we see familiar patterns emerge and it is time to confront them.. Example would be if you have been putting up with certain people being controlling and not supportive. This is the year to change the pattern, stand up to them! It may not be easy, but the 2 year brings us in balance or shakes us up. Last year was personal year 1 . The worst i ever had. First got into a fight with my mom which lead me to run away from home. When we settled our issues I came back home only three days later she died
Hello Marie, I am so sorry for your loss around your mom. I can relate as my mom passed a 1 1/2 years ago. Here is the point of the personal year. It is the theme and often the lessons we will have during that year. The fight with your mom was the pivotal lesson that might have been contracted for you both to learn. Whatever the fight was about is not as important. Perhaps you needed to find out more about yourself while you were away. It is more about your independence (so very “one” related). And then coming back to reconnect to your mom (and settle your issues) before she passed was the greatest gift.
For you both to see each other as “separate beings” with a connection through the heart way beyond the “story” of what made you leave. I am sure she waited for your return before passing so you both can make amends in some way and complete the contract of unconditional love and sharing. It is about forgiveness as well. Forgiveness with each other and what made you so mad. Also forgiveness to yourself. I had such an opportunity with my mom 2 years ago. It felt like a right of passage.

Wow–last year did NOT feel like a 1 year. I was fired from a job I truly loved but with a bad boss, transferred to an even worse boss and a terrible job, and then lost that job this Jan. I am drawn to return to my former place of employment, and my old boss is now gone, but so far, no such luck. I AM feeling like I’ve been working on my relationship with myself, which feels like a 2 year, but the rest is really not feeling correct. My b’day is 7/5/66.
Hi Sharon, it actually sounds like a one year to me. Yes it was a new beginning.. but not what you especially wanted.. That can happen in a 1 year.. It was a new beginning of looking at your career in a different way. Sometimes the shadow of the number comes up.. In your case, it was that of feeling alone, left behind and being forced to step into what is next in your life. You would have preferred having your loved job, but the universe had something else in store for you. You were forced to see something new.. a new employment.
As you embrace the two year, it can be a time to connect to what really brings you joy. Perhaps make a list of what you loved about your job and what you hated and then another paper describing the perfect job, including an inspiring boss. Describe how you feel about your self, using this positive reinforcement. Hope this helps:)
The ending of this year I quit my job and changed jobs more than once. Now I’m entering a 2 year.

Hi Jenny, ah big changes. I know it well. I did the same thing 3 years ago. Lets step back in 2013. You were in a 1+2+1+8+2+0+1+3= 9. 9 personal year. This was a year of transformation and change. A roller coaster ride where you got to look at what worked and did not work in your life.. Nine years are often a time to open to what is next. I can bet you, that is when you made your decision in your soul that you need to leave that first job. (At least that is when I made my decision.. yes I was in a 9 year). Then in 2014, you were in a 1 year. New beginnings. A time to begin.. to peek out the door at what is next. Often times the one year is harder than the 9 year (when you are kind of floating in the ozone of change- what numerologist call that “zero” place). The one year you are definitely out the door.. but hey, what do I do now:) OK. The 2 year will be easier. It is all about relationships. When you set your goal to what you really want in a job, take a look at the relationships of the coworkers, boss and self and see how it feels more balanced. If it does not feel balanced, what can you do to support self and the people around you so you are not fighting against your true happiness. Does this make sense to you?
