 What is the Meaning of the Universal Year 2014?

Looking at year 2014, numerologists examine what we call the universal year— the sum of the numbers
(2+0+1+4 = 7).  In doing this, we can decipher what the energetic environment of the world will be for all of us through the vibration of number 7.  The seven encompasses tapping into the energy of the spirit.

Happy New Year everyone!  Here is my annual report on what is in store for us in the new year. What is the numerological meaning of the universal year 2014?  Let’s take a look at what the 7 tells us.  It is the number of inner wisdom, spirituality and connecting within to find your answers.  It is the vibration of the non-conformist and the unique path not traveled by those who want to be like everyone else.  Seven is all about inner reflection and the spirit of you.

 What did the Universal Year 2013 Mean?

Before we step into 2014, let’s review 2013. The universal year of six (2+0+1+3=6) was about all matters of the heart.  I am sure most of you felt it.  We celebrated births and connected with family, friends and community.  For many, it was also about losses and tender goodbyes.

The Mood of Year 2014— Spirituality and Connecting Within

 The universal year 2014 vibration (the seven) is quite a different mood for the world.  It is less earthbound and less physical than the 6.  It is more yin, more about your sensitive connection with spirit and your inner journey.

Whatever that means to you, the energy in 2014 is outside the body and the material substance of the world.  It is your connection with the beyond— your connection with nature and the universe.  More like lifting up from your bed and seeing the world as energy and movement and colors.  Like stretching your brain and your senses beyond the mundane.

2014: The Challenge of 7

For some of you, this stretch will be a welcome relief.  For others, you may need to practice letting go of your brain for a moment and jumping into the abyss.  In every aspect of your life, you will have the opportunity to see things in a different way.  Perceiving “other possibilities” can be your mantra.

Or you can fight it, try to make sense out of things in a practical way.  You might find this approach frustrating because the world will not be moving in a practical way.  For those trying to swim upstream, you might find this year very slow and hard to get things accomplished.  I challenge you to be unique. To think out of the box, to meditate and explore with your psyche, to appreciate the beauty of nature , music and art.

I am very curious about how our government will function in the universal year 2014.  With the bigger picture about reflection and self involvement,  I wonder how our congress will make any decisions at all (hmm)?  However, it might be an opportunity to connect to a divine purpose where its people will all benefit.  Well we can dream right? I digress away from politics.

So what can you do? You could create a 2014 intention box where you throw in only ideas and action statements that go beyond what you have found to be your typical story.

This can be a great time to discover what intrigues you in all aspects of life— social, physical, emotional, spiritual, romantic and  business.  You might find yourself quieter, but I invite you to move with the unique dance of the inner self. How will you go beyond your limitations and inspire yourself in some way?
