Question: In numerology, why is a destiny number of 1 an unfriendly number to have? Many celebrities with that number have some sort of downfall. —Anna
Ask Greer: Well, I haven’t thought of numbers as “friendly” or “unfriendly”, but I suppose the “1” is not as friendly as the “3” or the “5” or the “6”. The ‘1’ destiny (life path) is the leader, the inspirer, the one that has a strong mind and takes action with his/her ideas. The “one” is a yang number – assertive and fearless. Celebrities with the destiny of “1” that has a downfall? I would not isolate that description only to a “1” destiny. But we have Actor George Clooney, Apple’s Steve Jobs (rather complicated soul) poet Maya Angelou, and entertainer Sting, who all have a “1” destiny. All strong in presence, brilliance, and leadership. All extremely successful and inspiring.
I would say one thing about the ‘1’ and the “downfall” word. The shadow of 1 is the ego. The challenge is holding on to being so strong in one’s convictions and ideas that they do not allow space for others to share their brilliance. I would say Steve Jobs was like that. The lesson of the one is to delegate and “empower” rather than stay on top without compassion.

Results in 54 negative. / Results in 55 positive. Which one should I believe? Thanks
Hi Luce, as a numerologist for 30 years, my expertise is Pythagoras, I know very little about the Chaldean numerology method, except they have a different alpha-numerical system.
I am also a strong believer that there is no such thing as an unlucky number. How can a number be unlucky? It is an energy that influences our world. People can, of course, have a number, that whenever they see it, it brings up something that happened to them during that time. It is reflective of that person.
That being said, let’s talk about ‘54’ The five is the energy of the fire, it is energy and being out there unafraid. Double 5s (55) is called a ‘master’ number as there are two numbers that are the same. This energy is very powerful. 55/1 Is the fire that presents new beginnings.. (the ‘1’).
– Now, ‘54” Again the five is energy and charisma, while the 4 is the builder and organizer. Adding together we form a 9. Nine is the spiritual warrior, the vibration of understanding the bigger picture.

Is lifepath no. 8, good? if yes, then how good is it?
As I mentioned in the other post on the '1', numbers are not good or bad.The number eight is the powerful, successful, and charismatic leader. In its strength, the destiny is about empowerment and reaching out without retreating to insecurity. Barbra Streisand, as an example, has an '8' destiny. Her memorable voice and presence are not like any other.
Like all numbers, there is a shadow. If you are not living in the energy of empowerment, you can tend to want to be a leader without caring about or listening to anyone but yourself. This could be a lonely life, believing that your opinion is the only opinion.
